Varengeville-sur-Mer · Alabaster Coast
Three lofts on stilts, facing the Channel.
Right by Pourville-sur-Mer beach in Normandy, two hours from Paris.
The place
A belvedere of wood and glass, open to the sea.
Raised on stilts, Les Gîtes du Cap Cod look out over the Channel in a 180° sweep. Timber frame, heated quartz-concrete floors, tall black aluminium windows: a quiet architecture that leaves the stage to the landscape — chalk cliffs, flax fields in bloom, light that shifts from hour to hour.

The lofts
Three lofts, three moods.
Independent yet under one roof, each with its own private terrace facing the sea, its wood-burning stove and its colour.

Architecture
Built like a belvedere.
Raised on stilts and built on timber-frame principles, the three lofts blend into the landscape through alternating white panels and wood cladding. Inside, the same care throughout.

« In the evening the stove crackles, the sea fades into the blue of night, and only the sound of the wind remains. »
